Mary-John Blevins

A Birmingham, AL native, Mary-John received her Bachelor of Architecture from Auburn University and her Master of Architectural Design and Urbanism from The University of Notre Dame. Mary-John spent time interning for Paul Bates Architects and McAlpine Tankersley, and upon graduating, she worked for two years with Merrill, Pastor and Colgan Architects in Vero Beach, FL. With MPCA, she helped in several projects and building types, particularly single and multifamily buildings in New Urbanist towns Windsor and Alys Beach, FL. Her design expertise reflects her background in both modern and classical design traditions and across scales, with an eye toward big picture urbanism down to her love of interior design.

Lizzi Connaughton

Having grown up between Boston, MA and Palm Beach, FL, Lizzi graduated from Boston College where she studied Studio Art, Philosophy, and Economics. She received her Master of Architecture and Master of Architectural Design and Urbanism from The University of Notre Dame. Lizzi spent time interning with Patrick Ahearn, Liederbach and Graham Architects, and Demetri Porphyrios in London before working with Merrill, Pastor and Colgan Architects in Vero Beach, FL. With MPCA, she gained experience in the design of many building and urban types, particularly single and multifamily buildings in New Urbanist towns Windsor and Alys Beach, FL.   Her varied and philosophical background, and extensive travel in her education, has brought out a generalist approach to design and building, with a strong foundation in tradition at the largest urban scale. Lizzi currently serves as an alternate member on the town of Palm Beach’s Architectural Commission.
